Terms of Use & Disclaimer
These Terms of Use apply to your use of AHT Meter, developed by Patrick Bronkhorst and published by PB Webdiensten. These Terms apply to the use of AHT Meter. Please read them carefully before using the app.
1. Purpose of AHT Meter
AHT Meter is designed to help users become more aware of their Average Handling Time (AHT), record individual handlings and gain personal insight into patterns and averages.
The app is an informational and self-monitoring aid only. It is not an official employer performance system and should not be treated as an authoritative measurement of an employee's overall job performance.
AHT Meter supports awareness and personal decision-making. The user remains responsible for their own working method, time management, behaviour, discipline and use of the information shown by the app.
2. No guarantee of results
PB Webdiensten does not guarantee that use of AHT Meter will:
- reduce a user's Average Handling Time;
- cause the user to meet an employer's AHT target;
- improve productivity or job performance;
- improve an employer performance review;
- prevent warnings, disciplinary measures or dismissal;
- result in continued employment;
- result in promotion, additional income, bonuses or other employment benefits; or
- produce any particular professional, financial or employment outcome.
Results can differ substantially between users and may be affected by circumstances outside the app's control, including call complexity, customer behaviour, systems and software, employer procedures, after-call work, interruptions, workload, training, working conditions and the user's own choices and actions.
3. User responsibility
The user is solely responsible for deciding when to start and stop a handling measurement and for interpreting information displayed by AHT Meter.
AHT Meter relies on information and actions provided by the user. Incorrect, incomplete, delayed or inconsistent use can result in measurements that do not represent the user's actual working time.
Users should always follow the policies, procedures, instructions and performance requirements of their employer or organisation. Where information from AHT Meter differs from official employer data, the employer's official systems and records may take precedence.
4. No employment, HR or legal advice
Information, calculations, guidance and insights provided by AHT Meter do not constitute employment advice, human-resources advice, legal advice, financial advice or professional workplace or performance advice.
Users should not make important employment or legal decisions solely on the basis of information shown by AHT Meter.
5. Smart Guidance and insights
Features such as Smart Guidance, averages, targets, trends, comparisons and insights are generated from the measurements available to the app.
These features are intended to assist with awareness and interpretation only. They are not predictions, instructions from an employer, professional assessments or guarantees of future AHT results or employment outcomes.
6. Employer acceptance
PB Webdiensten does not represent or guarantee that any employer, contact centre, organisation, supervisor or performance-management system will recognise, accept or rely upon measurements produced by AHT Meter.
The app is intended primarily as a personal aid. Users are responsible for determining whether use of the app is permitted in their workplace.
7. No affiliation
AHT Meter and PB Webdiensten are independent and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or officially connected with any employer, call centre, contact centre, insurer or other organisation unless this is expressly stated in writing.
8. Accuracy and availability
PB Webdiensten takes reasonable care to provide a reliable application, but software may contain errors or be affected by operating-system, device or compatibility changes.
Software errors, operating-system changes, device behaviour, incorrect input or other technical circumstances may affect availability or results.
Users should not rely on AHT Meter as the sole record of information that is essential to their employment or business activities.
9. Data
AHT measurements, handling history and settings are stored locally on the user's device as described in the AHT Meter Privacy Policy.
Users are responsible for their device, access to it and any loss of locally stored information resulting from device loss, damage, resetting, deletion, operating-system behaviour or removal of the app.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PB Webdiensten, Patrick Bronkhorst and persons acting on their behalf shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from reliance on AHT measurements, guidance, estimates, trends or other information provided by AHT Meter.
This includes, to the maximum extent permitted by law, loss of income, loss of employment, loss of opportunity, missed performance targets, disciplinary consequences, business interruption, loss of data, indirect loss or consequential loss resulting from decisions or actions taken on the basis of information provided by the app.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or statutory consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
11. Purchase and App Store
Where AHT Meter is purchased through Apple's App Store, payment, download, refund and App Store account matters are also subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.
A purchase of AHT Meter grants the user a right to use the app in accordance with the applicable App Store licence terms. Ownership of the application, software, design, source code and intellectual property is not transferred to the user.
12. Intellectual property
AHT Meter, its software, design, branding, graphics, text and other original materials are owned by PB Webdiensten and/or their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Users may not copy, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer or exploit AHT Meter except where applicable law expressly permits this.
13. Changes to the app
PB Webdiensten may update, improve, modify or discontinue features of AHT Meter where reasonably necessary, including for technical, security, compatibility, legal or product-development reasons.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when AHT Meter or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page together with its last-updated date.
15. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply to them under the laws of their country of residence.
